I was there for this performance!  Thanks, Kenny, for the awesome hook up!  

Regina is such a goddess.  She performed Small Town Moon, Ne Me Quitte Pas, All the Rowboats, Patron Saint, Ballad of a Politician, How, and The Party.  Then, during the interview portion she waxed poetic and profound about songs and lyrics and language.  

A few gems:

- comparing explaining the meanings of songs to unwrapping people’s presents for them
- comparing her unrecorded songs to internees that are waiting to see the light of day
- comparing her in-the-works songs to jello, which you can mess with for only so long before it’s set; ”Is that a regret?” asked the interviewer.  ”Is jello ever a regret?” replied the goddess.
